My Grown Up and Me: Babies- 0-18 Months/ Walking
My Grown Up and Me: Toddlers- 18 Months - 3 Years
Develop a love of music, a passion for movement and make friends for life!

Developed by Miss Jess, a Mummy, Fellowship qualified ISTD dance teacher and provisional affiliate teacher for the Royal Ballet School and Miss Emily, head of our Lower School Programme, these new classes are perfect for starting your little ones dance journey.

Brand new for 2022-

Classes for babies, from birth to walking. Come and encourage the beginnings of movement, with a structured 30 minute class followed by 30 mins free play, a cuppa and a biscuit at our new weekday daytime classes at Sarisbury Green Parish Rooms.

Pre School Dance

18months - 4 years
Come and join us as we travel through the jungle, fairy tale lands and even go to space and land on the moon! In this structured 45-minute class we aim to boost confidence and work on building social skills all while having fun and learning through play. The children will begin to learn ballet technique and also learn to express themselves through their dancing while using their imagination. There is also always time for a sing-along!

In a nurturing and caring environment, this class gives children the chance to learn valuable skills by learning from both the teacher and the other children. Our tailor-made syllabus follows the early years learning goals to ensure optimum learning and will ensure your child is happy, engaged and safe.

We have 3 options:

My Grown Up and Me: Saturday 9:00 - 9:45am, Miss Jess from 18 Months

Pre School Dance- Independent: Saturday 9:00 - 9:45am, Miss Emily from 3 years

Pre School Dance- Introduction to Independent: Saturday 9:45-10:15, Miss Jess and Miss Emily from 3 Years.

Year R

5 - 6 Years
Join us for an hour-long class filled with imagination as we go to a teddy bear picnic, fly like butterflies and gallop like unicorns. In this class we continue to build confidence and social skills while now incorporating steps and movements from Classical Ballet technique and fun Modern Dance. This class also includes tap, where the children will develop their rhythm skills (and they love to make lots of noise in their tap shoes!) a dash of acting and singing will be explored in a nurturing and caring environment.

This class gives children the chance to learn valuable skills by learning from both the teacher and the other children in the class. Our tailor-made syllabus follows the early years learning goals to ensure optimum learning and will ensure your child is happy, engaged and safe.

Year 1

5 - 6 Years
In our Year 1 class, the children will learn to curtsy like a princess, leap like a dolphin and balance like a flamingo! This engaging 80-minute-long class teaches classical ballet technique, modern dance and tap rhythms. They will also progress with elements of acting while continuing to learn social skills and build their confidence in our supporting, caring environment.  Our tailor-made syllabus follows the KS1 learning goals to ensure optimum learning and will ensure your child is happy, engaged and safe.

Saturday 10:15 - 11:35 am, Sarisbury Green Parish Rooms, Miss Emily & Miss Lauren

Year 2

6 - 7 Years
The year two class is the final level of our lower school program and aims to combine all of the skills they have learnt previously, practice them, enhance them and refine them, ready to prepare the children to move up to the junior classes.

However, this does not mean that this class is any less fun! In our bespoke programme, over an hour and a half class, the children will learn classical ballet technique, upbeat fun modern dancing, the beginnings of jazz dance and work on rhythm in their tap shoes.

They will also progress with elements of acting while continuing to learn social skills and build their confidence in our supporting, caring environment.  Our tailor-made syllabus follows the KS1 learning goals and will ensure your child is happy, engaged and safe.
